Nishant Shetty recorded 143m in
13.68 seconds beating record of Srinivasa Gowda who recently made 9.55 seconds
in 100 meters, which is even faster than Usain Bolt who secured a record of
9.58 seconds for 100 meters in 2009.
If we calculate for 100 meter race,
Nishant clocks it in 9.51 seconds made him fastest man in sprint.

Jodukare Kambala at Venoo by covering 100 meters in 9.51 seconds
Few days back Srinivasa Gowda, 28
years old was felicitated by the chief minister and government granted him 3
lakh rupees as an award.
Kiren Rijiju Union sports minister
too tweeted on Kambala runner Gowda and promised for his trial and training at
Sports Authority of India. However, Gowda decided to run for the second time in
th Kambala race on 10th March, 2020 instead of the trial.
Kambala in an annual race competition in Karnatka, in which th contestants
complete 143 meters race with baffaloes. Earlier, Srinivas Gowda had
distinguished both the Kambala race and track race. Gowda had said that in Kambala
race, heels have an important role, whereas in track race, toe plays an important role. Due to this, he wants to focus on Kambala competition, not on the
track.
All arrangements for Gowda's travel
to Bengaluru were made by the Sports Minister and he was supposed to give his
trials after getting two days to acclimatize. But Gowda, after meeting with
Karnataka CM, decided to skip the trials instead.
Now it is expected that Nishant will also be
offered training at SAI.
